Determine whether prerequisites for this specific consequence remain established rather than inheriting historical permission indefinitely.
VaultMind separates AI capability, identity, access, and credentials from current consequence-specific authority. The platform asks whether this specific consequential action is authorized now, under the current authoritative state, at the point consequence is about to occur.
Determine whether prerequisites for this specific consequence remain established rather than inheriting historical permission indefinitely.
Bind the determination to the consequential boundary and fail closed when required state cannot be established.
Preserve replayable, verifiable evidence so the chain from prospective determination through consequential execution and subsequent evidence can be reconstructed without relying solely on the executing system.
Focused bounded architecture testing is 120/120 passing. A bounded provider-capable production execution route has also been integrated through the consequence-authority boundary, with 164 unique passing in-scope production-wiring, supporting integration, and regression tests. No live provider was invoked.
In bounded formal modeling, VaultMind deliberately modeled an unsafe authority condition. The model checker found the unsafe reachable state, demonstrating that the test could falsify the property.
After strengthening the modeled consequence-authority requirement, bounded model checking completed 57,781 generated states, 8,355 distinct states, depth 14, with no invariant violation.
These results are bounded evidence, not a universal theorem, universal AI-safety claim, independent certification, NIST endorsement, or proof that every production route is consequence-authority dominated.
The properties are technology-neutral and intended to be challenged independently. VaultMind publishes the properties while protecting proprietary implementation mechanisms.
Authority must apply to the specific governed consequence, not merely to a tool, identity, role, or general capability.
The authority requirement remains coupled to what the action actually means and the consequence it advances.
Composition must not silently turn individually permissible actions into a consequential outcome for which required authority was never established.
Different technical realizations that create the same governed consequence must not become an authority bypass.
Required authority and relevant authoritative state are revalidated at the last responsible moment before consequence can advance.
When a required consequence or authority state cannot be established, uncertainty does not become implicit permission.
An adapter, transport, or integration layer does not gain authority merely by being able to invoke a consequential capability.
Preserved evidence supports reconstruction of the consequential determination without relying solely on the system that executed it.
VaultMind is not a foundation model and does not require customers to replace their preferred AI. It is designed to govern consequential execution around existing models, agents, APIs, identity systems, and enterprise workflows.
