Bounded Engineering Evidence

Focused bounded architecture testing is 120/120 passing. A bounded provider-capable production execution route has also been integrated through the consequence-authority boundary, with 164 unique passing in-scope production-wiring, supporting integration, and regression tests. No live provider was invoked.

Deliberate falsification

In bounded formal modeling, VaultMind deliberately modeled an unsafe authority condition. The model checker found the unsafe reachable state, demonstrating that the test could falsify the property.

Strengthened bounded model

After strengthening the modeled consequence-authority requirement, bounded model checking completed 57,781 generated states, 8,355 distinct states, depth 14, with no invariant violation.

Claim discipline

These results are bounded evidence, not a universal theorem, universal AI-safety claim, independent certification, NIST endorsement, or proof that every production route is consequence-authority dominated.

Consequence-Authority Boundary

Eight properties define the public assurance claim.

The properties are technology-neutral and intended to be challenged independently. VaultMind publishes the properties while protecting proprietary implementation mechanisms.

Consequence-specific execution authority

Authority must apply to the specific governed consequence, not merely to a tool, identity, role, or general capability.

Semantic-authority coupling

The authority requirement remains coupled to what the action actually means and the consequence it advances.

Authority non-amplification

Composition must not silently turn individually permissible actions into a consequential outcome for which required authority was never established.

Consequence equivalence

Different technical realizations that create the same governed consequence must not become an authority bypass.

Last-responsible-moment revalidation

Required authority and relevant authoritative state are revalidated at the last responsible moment before consequence can advance.

Fail-closed ambiguity

When a required consequence or authority state cannot be established, uncertainty does not become implicit permission.

Adapter non-authority

An adapter, transport, or integration layer does not gain authority merely by being able to invoke a consequential capability.

Independent reconstruction

Preserved evidence supports reconstruction of the consequential determination without relying solely on the system that executed it.
